Front L to R: Keith Goodwin, Bill Jones, Jim Phelps; Back: Tom Offidani, Rich Henderson

Around November, 2002, Tom Offidani (the drummer) and Rich Henderson (one of the guitarists) decided to look for musicians to form a band.  Bill Jones (lead vocalist) had worked with Rich previously singing for "No Foolin'" and with his high natural range was a perfect fit for the music the new band was going to play.  The founding members looked for a bassist and auditioned many.  In fact the band had two temporary bassists who quit for various reasons before it found current bassist extrordinaire, Jim Phelps.  Since the sound wasn't full enough with only one guitarist, the band searched for a second lead/rhythm axe slinger.  Rob Ward was hired to round out the lineup.  After several months of hard practice, the band was off and running, playing shows at Otter Point Station, the Thunderdome and other venues.  In early November, 2003, Rob left the band.  The guys set out on a quest for a new shredder guitarist, hiring the first one auditioned, Keith Goodwin.  Keith opens up many musical avenues to the band with his accurate metal-influenced guitar playing.  He is also an accomplished vocalist, adding dynamics to the band's harmonies.

Update:  Founding member, guitarist Rich Henderson will be leaving Full Throttle in March to move West and change careers, becoming the owner of a bed & breakfast inn in the Rocky Mountains.  He will be replaced by Darryl Whitesaol who will lend a great deal of talent to the band.
Please check these pages often to see where the band will be playing next.  If you like classic rock and metal, you won't be disappointed!

Here's a review of our Sept 5th show at the Thunderdome, which appeared in The Towerlight:  Towson University's Newspaper.

"Two opening bands, Ten Eighteen and Full Throttle, warmed up the place with a mix of original songs and covers from the 70s and 80s.

Full Throttle is a five-member band with two guitarists; this usually makes a promise of full sounds to come. The audience was not disappointed. The menagerie of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Motley Crue that followed moved the audience to the dance floor. The singers incredible vocal ability enabled him to hit those high notes, which was complimented by skillfully supported bass. Full Throttle gave a great performance!"
